It is your responsibility to find out whether a given number is local for you. As per our terms of use, Connect cannot be held responsible for any charges you incur by switching your dialup number to a long-distance number.

Also here, You will find scripts for Win95/98 that will automatically change your dial-in number. lease read the instructions carefully and, if necessary, contact us or your telephone company to confirm that the new dial-up is indeed a local call for you.
